suchuwato Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Beat you to it Clay It's like Film Noir and Natalie in one... Noiralie. Geddit? Yikes! My wordplay is fantastic!
ClayMeow Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Beat you to it Clay It's like Film Noir and Natalie in one... Noiralie. Geddit? Yikes! My wordplay is fantastic! That looks cool, no doubt, but aside from the minor red streak, it doesn't really fit with mine. No offense, but it seems a bit of a cop out....not exactly following the whole point of a worm. suchuwato Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Eh... I tried blending, but the compression on the image made it too hard - and it looked terrible - as did mirroring etc... if you can give me the original psd, I'd be able to fix it up more... I'll do so when I get home. I apologize for being nit-picky, but starting off any section with a vertical line kind of shows where the section break is, which is opposite of what we're supposed to be doing, ya know? Andrewr05 Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 (edited) It doesn't look too bad... I'm sure plenty of worms have cut ins like that... Pic reference: He didn't just slap a picture on, it looks fine in my opinion, kind of like you threw a negative over the picture. Which was his point... I suppose it is noticeable but it won't detract from the overall worm... maybe it will... I dunno *shrug* Edited May 20, 2008 by Andrewr05
Silverfox Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 well the red curve could be some random blood splatter on Noiralie? Would look cool if it follows the curve well enough?
suchuwato Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I'm going to do an updated version as soon as I can, but the next person can start if they want. (I like the idea of splatter )
Silverfox Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 It fits in with film noir style, being B+W with bits of red
