cirro Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 well now that i have done my vdroop mod i have ALOT more stability with overclocking, previously getting into lower multiplier range for oc'ing my fsb was getting pointless due to voltage, now when i can get it to run at a 8x instead of my usual 9x it seemed alot well, "comfortable" with itself.. anyways is the increase in the FSB more of a gain with a lower multiplier or is a higher multipler with lower fsb better? or is the lower multiplier just going to demand faster ram to be stable (without settitng the timings stupid high)
werty316 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 A higher FSB would be best as long as all clock speeds were relative to what they would be if you used a higher multiplier with a lower FSB. But really, you won't notice the difference.
