yiotta Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Well, as I am having a hard time making heads or tails of overclocking this awesome new system I just built... I thought I would use the program that came with my mobo rather than getting directly into BIOS. I know that some of you guys hate those programs, but has anyone used EasyTune5? Pros? Cons? Concerns? The Smith Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Hi, I have a Gigabyte p35-ds3r and EasyTune5Pro Easy Tune5Pro is a very simple program that contains the principal functions of the BIOS. Personnally, I prefer to go directly into the BIOS, because it's faster. When using EasyTune5Pro, each time you want your changes to be applied, you need to reboot and restart Windows Whatever to go back in EasyTune5Pro and check. On the other hand, you can enter the BIOS directly after booting, which saves you a lot of time if you need to check back and adjust. For testing, you definitely need to go into your OS...
