Introduction and a quick thanks

Before I quickly introduce myself, I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for their wealth of information you've shared with anyone interested. I've read multiple sites to learn everything I needed to know to build a new gaming rig that I could OC and enjoy, and after all the sites I looked at, I decided this would be the place to register.

Enough of that. I am currently waiting for my hardware to arrive in by Fedex tomorrow from Newegg. Last time I built a PC was years ago...the newest thing then was the Radeon 9800XT which is what I'm still using. My tax return allowed me to finally build a new rig, and after weeks of grueling research and little sleep (Ok, so I got a bit carried away) my rig turned out like this...

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3ghz 6mb Cache

Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G P35 Motherboard

Freezer 7 Pro Heatsink

OCZ Platinum 4GB(4 x 1GB) DDR2 800

XFX Geforce 8800GT 670 MHZ 512 MB XXX Alpha Dog Edition

CORSAIR 550W 550W Power Supply

WD 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

NZXT Alpha Black ATX Mid Tower w/ 2 extra 120mm Fans

SAMSUNG 20X DVD

Apart from the Vista 64-bit, that is probably the BEST build that anyone in a LONG time has posted here on OCC as already bought, as in, not seeking advice! Very good job, especially on getting a decent PSU! :thumbs-up:

On a side note, welcome to OCC, and be sure to check out our folding @ home team, the link to which is in my sig!
