And use the extrude Tool to make the box longer and a simple snake shape. then change the Virtexs to how ever shape for the snake... I don't use max, does i have nurbs if it does that would be the quikest way draw squigly line(spline) add circle then put in a nurb change end radius.May be diff in max as I've said I dont use it I use C4D.
