I have been to the site and I have tried calling them and e-mailing, and I can get a hold of people in there tech support dept. I contacted there rma dept, twice by e-mail and I have left phone messages, and it has been two weeks with no return contact from there rma department. bigred Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 reason #2 I never carry abit (or the rest of that family) built products... from experience call the sales department. and the best I can tell they do practice call screening via their caller ID there. outside calls tend to be ignored while internal (aka transfered from sales) are picked up. spectrascope Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Just updating everyone even though Abit was being a pain I did finally get a rma number from them via the sales dept, but I remembered I bought the board from Newegg before I mailed it off, I found it was still under Newegg's return period so the board is off to Newegg now from who I have better expectations than Abit. anyway I will continue to update you on how things pan out.
