My step-dad got Season 1 for Christmas, and my parents became addicted. I decided to give it a try, and now I love it. Is anyone else watching it? Is anyone out there crazy enough to dislike it?

For those who are wondering, it's like Gray's Anatomy. Mixed with Becker. And without any of the Lifetime-style drama that Gray's encompasses, or the slaughter of the anatomy reference book. It's what a medical show SHOULD be, full of dry humor and Metroid.

It's awesome, some people dislike it after a season or two, but I don't. Each episode follow s the same format, but the character development that happens throughout the series keep it interesting even after 4 seasons.

I've watched it since day one, and have enjoyed every second of it...well, except for that one episode where the eye popped out...I've had an eye injury before, so that stuff doesn't sit well with me. lol.

PS. I love Grey's Anatomy too. Both shows are great in their own ways.

It's an absolutely amazing show, and it is nothing like Grey's Anatomy.

You know, if they took out all the medicine and side characters, and let Hugh Laurie b!tch for 40 minutes, I think I might like it more than I already do :P

House is an awesome show. For a couple years it was the only primetime show I watched. I don't really watch House for the medicine. I watch it because House is a cynical, sarcastic, cunning, manipulative bastard.

[rant]Grey's Anatomy just makes me sick. Put that crap on WE or Lifetime already and get it off the networks. If I wanted that kind of drama, I'd go back to highschool. Hell, the show isn't even worth watching for good-looking women. I don't know where they found that many women in Hollywood still in need of plastic surgery to repair their faces. That one woman looks like a bus hit her, then backed up and hit her again. And then two more times. Seriously, how did she even get on TV? It's not like her acting skill actually got her there. Then again, no one on that show actually got there because of their acting abilities. It's like they're reading from a teleprompter. Bloody 'ell![/rant]

I think your rant just summed up dubbed anime :D. But on Gray's Anatomy, I only used that as a comparison due to the fact that it's in a hospital and a prime-time show... perhaps ER would have been better, especially when Crichton is just that awesome.

But I agree, the fact that House IS, as you said, a cynical sarcastic cunning and manipulative bastard, REALLY makes it a lot better .
