Seagate FreeAgent

I've been looking for the cheapest 250GB internal drive, and may have found something decent..

This 250GB Seagate FreeAgent is on sale for $67, and I've got a $35 gift card, making it about $30 for me to pay out of pocket for a 250GB drive.

What I'm wondering about is the internal interface of the hard drive. I'm assuming since it's relatively new, that it's SATA, but I can't find a definitive answer.

Does anyone know if it's SATA on the inside?

Thanks! :)

But is that a good brand? I'm also looking at the Seagate and the WD USB drives.

Seagate is a well known brand, and they make good hard drives.

i adore my 500gb freeagent. it works beautifully :)

I'll let you know tomorrow how mine is, assuming it's still on sale and I get it out of the enclosure!

it's nice. preformatted, and it has some humor in the packaging. i don't know. they seem like a cool company.
