nVidia_Freak Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I've been looking for the cheapest 250GB internal drive, and may have found something decent.. This 250GB Seagate FreeAgent is on sale for $67, and I've got a $35 gift card, making it about $30 for me to pay out of pocket for a 250GB drive. What I'm wondering about is the internal interface of the hard drive. I'm assuming since it's relatively new, that it's SATA, but I can't find a definitive answer. Does anyone know if it's SATA on the inside? Thanks!
hardnrg Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I have the drive, inside is a SATA2 drive (7200.10 series) I know this because I physically took it apart myself to find out

Seagate is a well known brand, and they make good hard drives. i adore my 500gb freeagent. it works beautifully I'll let you know tomorrow how mine is, assuming it's still on sale and I get it out of the enclosure!
