road-runner Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Yeah, or at least have the "banner" portion last 5-10 secs? Here's my prototype: Nice, at least I don't have to adblock this one.
oblivescence Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Don't work for me neither, here is my log output. schwag@ai:~/Desktop$ unzip Xcelsion_Italic.zip Archive: Xcelsion_Italic.zip End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive. unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of Xcelsion_Italic.zip or Xcelsion_Italic.zip.zip, and cannot find Xcelsion_Italic.zip.ZIP, period. ClayMeow Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Clay can make super duper graphic designs... but can't figure out how to link to a font i linked a font, it's not my fault your computers all suck at decompression! (Maybe has something to do with my using Vista?) here are my two shots: 1st background picture off of answers.com website. link 2nd background picture taken by me. all done in photochop cs3. I like the integration of the fan and ces logo

ClayMeow Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I'll probably use this saying in a different design (haven't decided yet), but I wanted to trademark this before someone else thinks of it
Verran Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Wow guys! There's already some really solid submissions here. Nice work. Lego: I like the idea of yours pausing at the final frame for a lot longer. That would make it a more "tolerable" animation Clay: I like the fan better without the filter, but I don't like it as much with the orange text on the top (I know you said it was just to get an early patent on the phrase, but I'm just saying ) Airman: I like both of the pics you selected a lot, but I think the top one works better. On the top one, the logos fit well without blocking anything in the picture, but the bottom one blocks a bit and kinda makes it feel like you're missing something in the pic.
