dling Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I just responded to evga's upgrade offer ,for 89 bucks I will be upgraded for my 680i to the new 780i . Unless he also plans on upgrading the processor to a Penryn next year. From what I could tell the 780i boards are the only ones "guaranteed" to run the new processors since the 680i needs a physical change, not just a BIOS change.
