soccertl Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Dimm in this bios. Edit: All you can add is .63 volts so that would make it a total of 1.863 volts I am assuming the board is 1.8 stock. You may have to get new 1.8 volt RAM or a new MB if that is not enough volts... Well, if it is stock 1.8, adding .63 would be a max of 2.43. soccertl Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 That being the case, you can probably set the DIMM to 200 and see what happens, assuming your ram is ~2V.

So add what ever you need so your voltage is what the RAM is spec for....

sti-06 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 (edited) Ok. I raised i up up to 50 which is 0.5 V. Volatage was around 2.25 at bios which, I guess, enough voltage for new rams because they were rated 2.2v. I took the crappy ram out and turned on same old same old. Now it doesnt boot with crappy ram too. So I had to reset bios. I am officially done with OCZ's gonna order 1.8v rams. Probably Corsair XMS2's, A-data or Gskill Edited January 23, 2008 by sti-
sti-06 Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I ordered 4gb Corsair XMS2 1.8V so I shouldnt have any problem. Also since my bios screen shots are up there can you please tell me how to safely overclock my cpu to 3.0ghz if I can. I mean what do I need to raise? What voltage? Thanks
