Those cards are gonna be at idel most the time.

A 24" @ 1920 x 1200 would look worlds better than any HDTV at 1368 x 720. Fact.

running almost the same setup as you shadow (8800GT sli) but with a samsung 305T and i've played (LOTRO, CoD 4, C&C3, and World in Conflict) the only one that comes close is World in Conflict when i put EVERYTHING to high on 2560x1600. Believe my benchmark on WiC was avg 35fps, so a 1920x1200 monitor would probbly be your ideal bet - I mean your forking out the money for the graphic cards, those things are gonna go outdated faster then your monitor.
