Overclocker16 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Like he said...you are still on the team, you just need to complete a WU to get back on.
Bosco Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Yeah, its no hard feelings.. its just a way to keep people off the team that just does one WU and quit
Overclocker16 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 I had trouble with one of my WU's... For some reason it created 2 FahCore_65.exe's. So it took about 10-20 minutes for 1 frame. So, I thought...maybe taking 1 of them off and let the other one take over. Nope that didn't work. Only had about 70 frames left and I lost 48 points! NyCUnDaGroUnD Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Yea we need to kick those inactive members. Almost half the team is inactive. It would be funny to kick Psywar off the team. LOL
localguru Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 in stead of kicking them off encourage them to keep folding maybe.
andrusk Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 what if you are say waiting for your mobo to get back from calif? leave your other computer on folding, simple enough
Overclocker16 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 It isn't "kicking" them off. All he is doing is removing people that just do 1 WU to get on the list so they have the double helix and then have a sig. That means if they want that back they actually will have to have their computer on.
mxrider623 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Linux you can take me off the list cause I just did it to burn in my CPU. I don't really think I will ever do it alot so if my name pops back up on the list or whatever you don't have to put me on.
d3bruts1d Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Same thing is done for the seti members... After 2 weeks if you don't complete a WU, you are removed from the team in the forums... start doing WUs again, and you are readded. RVE Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 How fast you finish a work unit varies greatly on your computer, how much CPU time it gets to work, and how big that work unit is. Some work units take longer than other because they are more complex. As for your user page: It takes time for the servers to refresh your work unit count. I usually check around 30 minutes after I finish a WU to check my count and it's usually updated.
