Kevin John Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Thanks Hardnrg; I am so green it is like bloodying my fingers learning how to spin nails. I especially like the Sangaku. As for as building my own goes, I will in about 2 years. I want Vista, Quad core processors, & GDDR4 memory to mature first. Gaming company's say they will continue to produce games for XP for another 2 years. So I figured I keep the XP system I got, upgrade it to the best available products on the market today.Without going to far. I don't plan on changing the processor motherboard or hard drive. See what I can do about overclocking what I have. If I can accomplish this, my computer will be all that it can be. I will be satisfied, Save my money, keep educating myself & in 2 years Hopefully I will be ready to build that gaming rig most people dream about. Verran Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 You won't be overclocking on a pre-built motherboard, sadly. But you may be able to buy a new motherboard and keep everything else, which would then let you OC. You can get a good OC motherboard for $100-$150. oblivescence Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Don't be afraid to ask questions. Those bring about the kind of questions I don't want to know the answers to.
