swifty11212 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 finally, i was able to perform a dual 32mb super pi successfully @ 3.6ghz on my 680i rig, pumped up vcore to 1.550 and it worked, now to try to push my cpu a little bit more. swifty11212 Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 your both noobs well the e6600 in my main rig is not stable @ 3.6ghz with 1.58vcore on air cooling the other core2duo doesnt work well @ 3.5ghz because the 975x chipset is a failure... I guess more reason in getting that unlocked quad core later on
kingdingeling Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 975X = low FSB wall usually Grab a 965P or P35, and you're good to go Pwns your P5WDH at OCing for sure!

kingdingeling Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 where do you have a P35? I agree though, the 680i is pretty sweet If I had an NVIDIA card, I'd be eying the DFI 680i LT
