E4400 @ 2.6GHz. can it go higher?

Recommended Posts

Here's the system:

WindowsXP Home

Asus P5N-E SLI w/BIOS 04.01

Intel E4400 w/Thermaltake TMG i2

Corsair Twin2X2048-5400C4

EVGA 7800GT CO

1 - WD 37GB Raptor

SeaSonic EE650

My situation isn't temp related. The temps stay around 30C. The problem with going any higher is the system won't boot.

What would the BIOS settings be from those of you who have a similar setup and running over 3GHz on air?

First I can barely read your pictures. I suggest that you put all your PC spec's in your sig below. I need to know what your Vcore is for CPU, memory, Northbridge, FSB volts are at. Did you know that when Nvidia came out with their 590 SLI that Nvidia wasn't happy with how it overclocked, so they came out with the 680i which finely gave them the overclocking they were looking for. Now you know what the difference is between the two, overclocking.
