im looking to put in some new speakers for my car, but as of now im a little lost asto what would be the best way to go. I absolutly despise the entire-trunk-filling bass boxes, and its for my old 1969 wolkswagen karmann ghia. there is a hole underneath the "back-seat" (lol absolutly -no- foot-room) on two sides, divided in half. each section is about a foot and a half wide, 4-7 inches deep and 6-9 inches across. this would im my opinion the best spot for a sub, but i don't really have the money to go to a car toys like place and pay for a specialty install. as for other speakers i have no ideas, but as the car isn't technically mine, then i can't do anything that totally tears with the "image" my dad has in his mind for the car he never drives. (i think he justified his mid-life crisis by buying a car and saying it was "mine", especially come time to wash it.) Anyways if any of you have any ideas at all it would be great. i can give you some more detailed specs if you need em, buti don't feel like running outside with a measuring tape right now.

if you can work on computers you can build a box i just paid 30 dollars for the supplies to make a box to go under the seat of my 99 ext cab silverado if you just take a few measurments its not that hard to do yourself if you try to get a box made for that it will cost like 400 dollars just take your time and make it yourself
