Kash Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 depends on the source of the software. Installing OS X on non-Apple hardware is illegal, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Mac developers are an exception to this rule. Now last I checked, nobody on this forum was a Mac developer, so it IS illegal in this particular context. th3m4d0n3 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) Alrighty then, finally my account works. well as for laptops i would recommed the hypersonic aviator i picked one up after customizing it, and it has been the sweetest laptop i've purchased much better than the alienware laptop i got. and this way if you want to get back into gaming you can and still have power for any application development or number crunching you need it for. The OP posted this thread two months ago. I'm pretty sure he doesn't need laptop buying advice anymore. The last couple of posts have been purely academic. And on that note, I'm gonna close this thread.
