Silverfox Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 This is a no brainer. Thought the E6700 is an expensive price for 200MHz more, when the E6600 can take the light overclock in its stride on stock cooling. Assuming of course, that you don't mind the 9x multiplier of the E6600 to the 10x of the E6700
nightsider Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 (edited) will the E6600 peform any better since so many of you recomend the intel CPU Edited June 15, 2007 by nightsider

kendellrt Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Another vote for the E6600. I would suggest the EVGA version of the video card for the warranty and level of customer service. You have chosen good RAM, but check this out also. You may also want to check out the new P35 Intel chipset.
Verran Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 will the E6600 peform any better since so many of you recomend the intel CPU This question doesn't really make any sense. The whole point of suggesting it says that we think it will perform better.

He might mean the E6600 vs the E6700 ... but that would make little sense either I guess, as it is fairly obvious Now is not a good time to buy and AMD processor for gaming. Period.
