Coolink Press Release

Silentator Product Page

Coolink today introduced its new Silentator CPU cooler for Intel and AMD Processors.

The Silentator uses 3 dual heatpipes and 37 aluminium cooling fins to cool your CPU.

It also claims to be near silent (could you guess that by the name?), citing noise as low as 14dB(A) @ 900rpm.

The fan can be adjusted with a provided PCI-Bracket fan controller to 1600rpm and 24dB(A) to provide more effective cooling.

Noctua's heatsinks are apparently manufactured in Coolink's factories, and the cooler bears a resemblance to Noctua's products.

If performance is similar or better, then we have a promising cooler on our hands.

Expect to see it in retail channels from today for LGA 775, AM2 and K8 (754, 939, 940) with a suggested retail price of EUR 39,90 / USD 49,90.

The design looks nice, the low noise is a definite plus, and being made by the same folks as Noctua stuff is cool too, but good lord, that name has to go!

Silenator? Yikes.
