Never used it, but if you're asking whether it's safe, the answer is YES, assuming your PSU is good enough. As long as you have enough wattage and your rails are good enough to withstand more devices (and fans don't eat much), splitting off power like that is perfectly fine.

 

EDIT: I shouldn't have used the term "splitting"...as you're not actually splitting the power...each device will still get all the necessary juice it needs.
