Folding Using The Linux SMP Client Under Windows

sorry road, but thats not gonna happen soon. My PSU blew, its RMAed, but I only have one laptop dedicated folding right now. When the PSU comes back though, SMP time!

I was looking at my Pent. "D" 915 a little bit ago and its taking about an hour and half a step on a 2604 in vmware so I stoped the non gui version and logged in to check and see if they have been making the dead line and no they haven't. So I checked the 920 that is dual boot and its only taking 20 minutes a frame so Linux with out vmware is a lot quicker, over an hour a step quicker. :foldon:

time to kick windows and install Ubuntu :):foldon:

 

Noisetaker has yet to show up again, Enermax = slow :(

I am going to after I get back from class at 10:30, later guys.

Got Ubuntu installed and working last night on the 920, now its doing the WUs in 20-21 minutes a step or percent. :foldon:

Tried adding my VIA Cyrix III 600MHz dual system today, no go with the SMP system (DUH, was just a try ;)). With the normal client it takes 5 hours for one step, I shut it down again...
