coolcat97 Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I have on an Opteron 2.53 GHz with 2.75 GB RAM and Fedora Core 6 x64 Also a Duron 1.8 GHz with 512 MB RAM and Windows XP Professional How long (each seperately) will they take for one WU? also, should i run F@H twice on the Opteron because its dual core? Why dont i have DNA under my name?
road-runner Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Different WUs are going to take different times on different cpus, its hard to say. But on your 64 bit dual core if linux is 64 bit run linux 64 bit SMP folding for the most points per day which is the fastest for the most points. You can PM Bosco and he will add the DNA. Just to give you an idea of points per day with different cpus heres my fahmon log.

road-runner Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 (edited) Oh ok. I am new to linux myself. The E6600, E6400, E6300, Pent. D 920 & 915 in my log are using linux ununtu 64 bit with the smp folding beta. Some of the guys at the folding forums have been having trouble making the deadlines on some of these new WUs with X2 AMD the slower clock ones. They have to run it 24/7 and are barely making the deadlines. Anyway welcome to OCC and the folding team Edited April 22, 2007 by road-runner
