Hi friends.

I would like some help I am getting the thermaltake Tai chi. I was going to get the one with water cooling but after some thought. I am opting for the one with out water cooling. As I want more then just a cpu cooler. So now this leaves me with no cooling. I want water cooling as I want to build my dream pc. I was looking at the Asetek Waterchill Watercooling here is the link at guru3d . http://www.guru3d.com/article/cooling/190/

It seams pretty good. but looking on the online shop where I get all my gear from. I also found this one http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo...roductID=303408 which one is better. I am not show on the price on the one I showed you at guru. As I can not find it no where. If some one could give me the price of that one in pounds that would be grate. And one other question the one I showed you at scan there is 4 water blocks? There is a white on the right of the fans what is this for there is three on the top of the pic vga/cpu/and one for the chipset and the 4th white one........?

Thank you for all your kind help

In that second kit, the radiator looks like the thermochill p120.2 but the rest of the kit looks rather blah.

I would say ordering blocks and pump and radiator rather then getting a crappy kit and possibly having to buy extra things.

Performance would be much better by customizing what you want.

What kind of spending limit are you looking at?

Off the top of my head, I don't know where to order stuff from the UK for water cooling (NRG suprised you haven't posted yet).

It's really not that tough to build as long as you do a bit of research.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/ is a good place to dig around for watercooling information very helpful.

For the amount you are willing to spend, you could probably build a real nice setup instead of a kit.

the asetek cpu block is good, but the push fittings are dangerous, the combo pump/res sucks and fails... i wouldn't buy asetek anything personally (for water), i wouldn't mind an LS unit lol... with a budget of 2 ton +, you should just get the separate parts from dangerden / swiftech / thermochill...

so is it going to be cheaper to buy my own parts and build my self. And also how does a setup work if there not push fittings is it like ie you still push the pipe onto the connecter but then also screw a metal thing over it so it will not pull off?

Well there show is some sweat bits out there. I think i will make the jump and build one my self

i take it if i where to buy a block it would come with the fittings ? I.e. fittings to put it onto the mobo and fittings to attach the hose to the block

Blocks themselves usually come with mounting hardware for just about any chip.

and for the connecters they come with them as well i.e. block connector hose?

Ps i put one together will post it up tomorrow see what you think.

I can't say about others, but my swiftec block came with 2 sets of fittings for 3/8" tubing and 1/2".
