ohk, its working fine here, a little slower than the linux version, but out of mere convenience I will stay with the Windows version.

yup, there appears to be eight projects with the code GRO-SMP ranging from 587 to 1760 points and the preferred and final deadlines are only a few days

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html

I have looked there and the 2610, 2651, and the 2652 are not on there however I found them.

Project 2610: 1523 points, deadline 4 days

Project 2651: 1760 points, deadline 4 days

Project 2652: 1148 points, deadline 3 days

2610 on E6600 @ 3.2ghz = 13 minutes a frame

remember that there can be variations of proteins for any given project number so you might want to wait for a few units to complete before you draw any final conclusions on the performance difference between the two clients

i'm very interested to find out if the windows client is at least as fast as the linux client because the fixed amount of reserved memory for vmware/ubuntu can be very annoying

How does that compare to the vmware performance?

Can anyone do a side-by-side comparison of the linux and windows solutions yet? As nrg said, you'll need a few WU's to be closer, but I'm just curious if the windows client is in the same ballpark or not.
