p8baller07 Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I just want to let off some steam. I switched to vista just so i can help customers more at work (all new pcs have Vista now) and i wanted to know how to do my job. I've had like 20 crashes so far. nan0click Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 20 crashes sounds like a personal problem to me... I've had 0 in like 15 days.

Iv been using Vista since RTM and have had one crash and i caused it, so you have a hardware/software issue it NOT Vista. I have baught Windows Vista Home Premium and my Games are a bit dogdy and Bloody Creative's Audigy Drivers are Unsigned but otherwise it is a sweeeeet operating system (I am supprised that I went out and paid for it but maybe i was worried about getting fined for piracy lol)
p8baller07 Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 32bit its everytime a load any video whatsoever.. I'm gonna do a fresh install once time allows. Lots of other stuff to do first :/
WhenKittensATK Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Does it just freeze when you play a video cause sometimes my system will just stop and it will restart the video card. I never knew video cards could reboot on their own. Somehow Vista does that.
ClayMeow Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I'd have to agree with others...like Vista or not, 20 crashes just doesn't sound like it's Vista's issue directly. What are the specs of the Vista system and what do you have installed?
Nerm Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 It sounds more like a video driver problem to me.
Ste Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I with many other, are very interested to know the specifications. Im also curious if you updated VISTA right away. And what programs your trying to run. Also, if you tried tweaking it doing something similar to nliting it?
bigred Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 are you saying you upgraded? there is your problem right there NEVER do that if you can help it.
