bigred Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 you're whining about $800 for all 4 tires???????? I spent $1400 PER last week for a bronco. also, never go to discount or walmart. neither one is exactly motivated. specialty shops, in your case ones that specialize in classic cars, or ma and pa tire shops like people have recomended. heck even check around your local "cruiser" clubs. I bet those guys either have some or know the best places to get em.

Kamikaze_Badger Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Were those things rubber with titanium durability or something?
94Camaro Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I'm guessing about a 44" rock or mud tire. Basically something that is big, intimidating and isn't DOT legal. $800 is expensive for a standard car tire. I wouldn't pay over $100 per for something as basic as a 225 on a 16. But with your wide whitewall requirement, you're severly limiting yourself, and I wouldn't be surprised if you end up having to pay ~$200 each. Puck Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Thats expensive. My BFG drag radials, just about the stickiest street drivable tire around, were just $150 a pop before shipping.
