hardnrg Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Doom I... for me, duke nukem cannot touch the awesomeness of Doom I on a 486DX2-66 with tweaked config.sys and autoexec.bat to stuff the upper memory as much as possible so that Doom could run and also run full-screen lol... oh and then the sound editor so me n my mate Lewis changed all the sounds to home-made ones using some cheap earbuds connected to the mic input of a SB16Value and using SoundRec to make all the samples... Doom I started my love for pc gaming and generally messing around on computers for entertainment ... that was about 12 years ago now... hardnrg Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 well... there are still competitions for 64KB games... i was very impressed with the 64K fps game that was made not so long ago it's pretty extensive for a game that is smaller than a screenshot (even in jpeg format) !!!!
