I came across this article on fox news. at the bottom of the foxnews page is a link to the pc mag forums to discuss it there, you really should read some of them.

I think the guys a whiner and an idiot. What gets me is that 3 of the nine are complaints about driver support, and 2 of them are him being blind or can't adjust his monitor.

Driver Support? Driver Support!? He better not say another dang word.

I started vista for the first time on my main rig the other day and it automatically installed my nforce chipset drivers and the ATi drivers for my vid card. This, of course, was after I installed it on my laptop and started the first time with Sony laptop utilities already installing, with all chipset, wifi, and touchpad drivers built in.

Up yours weird Vista reviewer guy <_< . Take your serial wacom tablets and go get a windows Me rig.

I haven't even broken the seal for my vista ultimate  I've been too busy with Dark Messiah on my main rig and busy overclocking my conroe rig. Honestly though people really need to stop crying about driver support. It doesn't hurt to wait for some more support.

  • 2 weeks later...

I am dipping my toes with vista tonight "on the wifes rig :P " looking forward to playing with the new features looking forward to Aero in the flesh

all 9 of those points where not really that bothersome, Anyone using ancient hardware should just stick with the OS it works with and then he moans its to bloated yet wants all the drivers under the sun to work with it.

Well, my computer rebooted and vista got hosed. again...

So, let me count the ways... drivers.... Software.... (flash, java) Not using all my ram.... Folder navigation in explorer.... All the 'home folders' have moved. :(

So I'm going back to xp and running this inside a VM.
