O'neal11 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 So for mouse I am thinking Razer Copperhead with Razer Mantis Pad. Any recommendations on keyboard, and why? I used to game on old keyboard from 486 days. I tried new ones and I found keys to be mushy, and not very responsive.
Verran Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 For mice, I've always been a fan of Logitech. They just fit my hand well, and they seem to hold up very well. I have the MX510 and I really like it. Still kicking after several years. But buying now, I'd either go for the MX518 or the G5. I don't like wireless mice. For the keyboard, I really like my Saitek Eclipse. The backlit keys are great if you find yourself gaming/typing in a dark or poorly-lit area. The key action is very good too. sdy284 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 whats your budget for a keyboard?
LoArmistead Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Definitely look at a G5 for the mouse. As for the keyboard... don't get the G15. For something more affordable look at a Saitek, or that new Razer keyboard is looking pretty good if you have a $100+ budget

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other keyboards, which I like cause I only use the volume controls on keyboards. caffeinejunkie Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 (edited) I say Razer Copperhead and G15. For those dissing the G15 it's only around $60 now and if you do some serious gaming the 54 possible programmable keys/macros can be a big help. Not to mention all the third party apps for the LCD screen. Edited February 2, 2007 by caffeinejunkie
Makaveli Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I have both the MX518 and the G15 and I personally really like them both. Look into these two...G15 is awesome if you have use for an LCD screen. Most games don't have support for the LCD. But there are too many positives to list, if you want to know more about any of these, PM me.

Andrewr05 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) tried new ones and I found keys to be mushy, and not very responsive.I know what you mean, most new keyboards are too touchy, I like a lot of the older keyboards with high tactile feedback whilst pressing a button. (also it helps avoid accidentaly button pressing) Edited February 25, 2007 by Andrewr05
