LoArmistead Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I didn't say blame Bush, I said blame the old men. Old men start wars, the young men fight them. This is something that has been going on since the dawn of mankind. In this country, every single political party is just as responsible for doing so. You have a point, though I'm not totally convinced... I guess after reading ukjent's post (whose opinion was no doubt directed towards "the Decider"), I had a mindset that set yours up for being right alongside his. ClayMeow Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 he gave his live to each and every one of us in this country. and as every brave man and woman who has done so diserves, a moment of silence to say thank you for the ultimate sacrifice they made. And that's my point; not that this soldier doesn't deserve recognition, but rather that there are so many brave men and women sacrificing their lives, and to start a thread for each one of them we didn't even know would just be spamming. Kamikaze_Badger Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I'm asking for a little respect for his sacrifice given that he was well known in my small town, and served alongside my brother in Iraq. A fellow soldier of his is a hero of mine, just like our other brave men and women out there.
