Kazaam Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Can someone recommend me which monitor to buy. I've decided to change my old 15", with some new, but I'm not sure which one. I'm going to use it for gaming, movies, office. I'm big fan of NFS series and rallies so I really need those ms as low as possible. Here is the shopping list: LG 19" L194WT LG 19" L1952S; 17" L1752S ViewSonic 19"VA1912wide KTC
romeo55 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Avoid the KTC, stick with the known good performers. My vote goes to the Samsung, LG, and View Sonic Hyundai is a hit and miss a lot of times
Crow47 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Get the LG. Have it, love it. The 19" I mean. I wouldn't get widescreen at such a small size. 19" widescreen is pretty small. If you're going to go widescreen, do 20" or up. Just get the LG or the Viewsonic.

Fireonice Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 For WS dont even bother going with anything below 20inches. The mointor that raven linked to is very good to.

Kazaam Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I'm from Europe, so Newegg is out of option. My favorite is LG WS and I'm interested in how many dead pixels they get?
capthowdy575 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 dead pixels is a hit and miss thing you could get 5 monitors of the same type and none could have a dead pixel or you could get all five with some dead pixels its somewhat luck if your getting it at a store see if they wont let you plug it in and look at it on a running computer. i dont know how things work in EUR but i got a acer 17 inch a while back and it was perfect not one dead pixel.
