nightsider Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 ok I have set up a domain and added my computers to the domain, all I have do is transfer all my user's data to their roaming profile directories, I am using my own profile as a test before I migrate the rest of my users profiles, once I have copied the profile form C:\Documants and Settings\Mark into this folder on the server C:\users\Mark which is where I have specified in the user profile as the profile path, I can log on to the profile but it can not synchronise it to the local machine what am I doing wrong thanking you all in advance. ClayMeow Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I haven't had the time/patience to implement this at work yet, though I'd love to be able to. Here's a link I found awhile back that I've been holding onto: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_...erver-2003.html
Nerm Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 What exactly do you mean by you cannot synchronize it to the local machine? When you log into your profile it doesn't show C:\users\Mark on the domain server as your My Docs folder on the local machines or what?
