Assassin X Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 (edited) Ok for the longest time now MSCONFIG has always started with windows and I don't know why and I don't really care why, my system is fine, virus free, no problems. I just want it to stop running every time I have to restart! Well I noticed this in my start up programs: Is that "MSConfig.exe /auto" which is in my MSCONFIG what is causing it start up? Do I just remove the "Auto" part? Someone told me if I even modify that thing a "Secondary" MSCONFIG kicks in.
