kingdingeling Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 1,600 dpi is not fast enough for you? man you've got to be kiddin me, i don't even have my Razor up to full speed and everyone else who uses the mouse for like a second tells me its WAY too fast! ccokeman Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I was going to suggest the razer diamondback or copperhead. I'm in the same boat everyone who tries to use my computer complains about how fast the mouse is.
caffeinejunkie Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 What is it too slow in? If your talking gaming wise then you should try adjusting the games sentivity aswell as the mouses sensitivity (also do you have the mouse at 1600 because at default I believe it starts at 800??) I have a mx518 and it is anything but slow. Ive also owned a 2000dpi Boomslang and used several Dimandbacks and they're really not that much "faster" and definitely not fast enough to merit another $50. bishop245 Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 is it the mouse or your hand that is too slow lol becuase at 1600dpi my razers fly across my triple monitor setup just by moving the mouse about 3 inches and the monitors are all set too 1280x1024
hardnrg Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 you really must NOT have put the mouse at the highest dpi setting... i have the mx518 and i have to put all my games on low sensitivity (as high resolution and low sensitivity = sensible amount of movement, with higher precision)

Are you sure those Diamondbacks were on full 1600 DPI? I can't stand to use anything under it, given that it's 4x as fast as a standard mouse.
