kendellrt Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I am running 1GB in my rig and that is just fine for XP. I have been using Vista for a while, and I really like it. It does have a need for more memory, however. I am just going to move up to 2GB regardless. I noticed a big gain in Vista by simply using a flash drive in ReadyBoost. 4GB isn't really needed right now, except in unusual situations, such as what Bigred is probably doing.
