kingdingeling Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Hey smolt, I'm gonna add that as a suicide, as it's not one of the tests on the first page. It's a nice clock, no question about it, but if you wanna enter the OCCT category, then you need to run the 1 Hour test

damian Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Updated my post King #1313. I tried running the SuperPI mod 1.5 but it would just crash on me, i guess due to my overclock. Man i really wanted a spot in that category, well i guess suicide screenshot sounds cooler B:)
kingdingeling Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Yea, but the make-up of the mixed test and the 1 hour tortue test is different. They test different things. I tried this when the 'new' OCCT 2.0a was released back in the day. I ran my Q6600 at a known unstable overclock of 3.8GHz, passed OCCT mixed test for 5 hours just fine, but gave an error in the 1 hour stability test, because they test different things. kitfit1 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 (edited) Thanks for clarifying that King. I did'nt know the 1hr test was harder. Just assumed the longer it ran the harder it would be Edited October 13, 2008 by kitfit1

The Smith Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Nice Pi run there, but a 45nm on 1.8V ain't gonna last long. What volts did u need for 6GHz? 1.8V on 45nm FTW!!! That was on air. I plan on going even higher when I will use my dice pot.
