jaxstraww Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Got it. I now have two instances running on a single core P4 3.0ghz. Better than just using the 5.04 client with one instance. I also opened a second instance of 5.04 on the E8400 machine. If I boot from the CD on the E8400 I won't mess anything up on the rig??????? Reading SMP is the way to go but VMware is down for maintenance and I'm not sure I'm game for running a virtual machine. Not sure how difficult it is to set up. kingdingeling Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Setting up VMware to run Ubuntu 64-bit is a piece of cake! Just follow the guide closely (see the sticky here in the folding section) and you really can't go wrong!

Great_Gig Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Yep, been running it since 17th July when Notfred updated it to run the new 6.02 SMP client (6.02b worked fine for me too?). Works a treat, no work and great results.
