Real Hard Work

Recommended Posts

Well, today, I was given the opportunity to engage in real hard work. Not taking out the trash or doing a pile of dishes. It was worse than even having to get out of my chair (Aimed at my fellow youth :glare:)

Yup, I got to build a rock garden. And I don't mean fist sized pebbles arranged in a pretty little pattern, I had to carry around 70+ pound hunks of rock and THEN arrange them in a pretty pattern (I'm quite the arteest, if you ask me). Took about six skidloader buckets of rocks, under the hot sun, in humid weather. About two hours of that. By the time I got done, I could hardly stand, my back was killing me, my head was throbbing, and my heart was screaming bloody murder.

BUT, I got really good cookies :D.

haha, thats the norm here, since we desert people can't waste water on plants, we arrange "pretty rocks" instead

bah i tie ropes on the boat at work every five minutes...they are rather heavy and more so when wet! lifting rocks would be fun in comparison :D hehe.
