  • 2 weeks later...

I sold my Mobo, CPU and GPUs a couple weeks ago so while ive been waiting for my new stuff to come in I have been using the old HP 560w. My old system best was 18,424 so this is pathetic by comparison LOL!!!

Specs

Hp 560w circa 2001? or 2002?

P4 1.5ghz now has a 2.2ghz P4 socket 478

1gb ram

1650xt agp GPU

cd burner

dvd rom

485w psu

asus board????

120gb seagate hdd

Man I cant wait to test my new system lol, But this one does good for surfing and what not, its been in my family since it was new, my brother then to another brother then I bought it off him for 50 bucks two years ago now its my backup. I upgraded the cpu, ram, gpu, psu, and hdd, cd burner and dvd rom back when I bought it. Still got the original keyboard and monitor.

1761....gotta be one of the lowest on here.

Oh my god..

I just got an extremely low score and I just built this rig! :(

How can I fix? I shoud at least get 15k with a Q6600 and a 9600GT 512MB

I restarted like 30 minutes ago.

Sweet my sig is in the background of your picture:)

Thats not really that bad of a score for your setup. When I had my E8400 overclocked to 3.6ghz and only 1 overclocked 8800gt I was only getting around 12k-13.5k.

Depending on how far I can take my new setup im hoping to get around 16-17k, short of my old score of 18,424 but that was @ 4ghz and with 2 cards vs 1.

10k-11k looks about right for a 9600gt. The best way to boost your score is to overclock your cpu the most you can, or get another 9600gt for sli, or buy a card with more horsepower.

well the 9600GT was a mistake on my part.. I mean, the sites I was going to didn't really say much about the build and what I should do.

I don't have a clue how to overclock a CPU or GPU, plus I only have stock cooling.

my old rig with 2Xhd3870X2's got 22,7960 the best run I ever got.

my new rig E8500, hd4870,hd4850 in crossfire has gotten 19,790 so it's not quite as good but oh well, I'll get at least 21k on it when I hit 4.5ish on this cpu.

Just benched again with my CPU @ 3.85GHz. All other factors the same, 1680x1050...

Benched 21,304

Was curious to see what it'd do @ 1280x1024...21,606...
