Mys system, with a 7800gtx and a WORSE processor scored 8500+ stock (but that was with 1 monitor off, 800x600, 16-bit color, and all unneeded programs closed).

Great, now I feel worse. Anyways, I messed around a bit and my score went up to 8266 on mark05. Then, I overclocked my graphic card to 511mhz, tests after overclock still have to be done. Im just having difficulty overcloking my CPU.

Just curious how many sticks of ram do you have? Also what speed does it run at?

Oooooo....I was just about to post that. I got 4 sticks (sorry, I do wish now IO had 2 so don't come saying "you n00b should have gotten 2 its more stable), its supposed to run at 400mhz, but their running at 333mhz, Ill be fixing that now that Im successfully overclocking my CPU (currently 2.74ghz :D ).

Suppose to run at 400mhz?

I thought the fastest ram for DDR was PC 4800 witch is DDR600 and runs at 300mhz.

ddr333(166.5mhz*2)= pc2700. ddr400(200*2)=pc 3200, and then theres ddr600(300*2=pc 4800, according to the jsob, ddr400 is what the standard speed ddr ram should be @, any higher is overclocked. the fastest is beyond ddr600 but even then, thier overclocked. inother words, pg is trying to get his ram to run @ default speeds (according to jsob's standards) or slightly higher instead of pc2700 speeds. hope this isnt too confusing.

I love that last part  , Ill look into the BIOS and see what I can do to overclock it or set it to run at 400mhz.

I know that I think it like if the ram runs at 200mhz we multiply it by 2 to get the DDR which I this case is 400. Then we multiply 400 by 8 and get the PC which is 3200. So then he's using a divider on his ram right? But why does he keeps saying he wants it to run at 400mhz? Does he mean get it run at a regular speed of 200mhz and get it to run at DDR400.
