Save up some money. A psu and a video card are going to be a lot more than that.

This will be my last upgrade before I save for a Laptop next year. I need the card to play Quake 4 , BF2 HL2,Fear at good-great settings at 1024x768

I'll be getting this from my parents on my B-Day January 10 ($500 cash)

Plus money from relatives($150-$300)

I'm also selling My Gamecube

So I want to keep most of teh cash for my laptop for college B:)

Raven is correct, you will need more then that, I had the same Video card, I upgraded to AGP 6800 (plain). It runs everything I want it to on maxed out settings. The only two games I have that are high in that area are Farcry and UT2004.

I would arrange your budget better if you arent going to save for better stuff. Make more room for your PSU, I wouldnt stick a 23 dollar PSU into any machine.

You'd be betetr off with a 9800pro then a 6600vanilla. 6600gt will be alright if you can find one cheap, but it still wont play the games listed at high settings.
