ir_cow Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 okay well im getting a Motherbord for my 3000+ laying around it was in the current computer, than i lost it and found it months later. same MB as the one in my sig for my 3700+ now i was thinking of getting a GIGABYTE or MSI with Nforce 3 chipset for under $60 so its either GIGABYTE GA-K8NS Socket 754 NVIDIA nForce3 250 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $57 BIOSTAR NF325-A7 Socket 754 NVIDIA nForce3 250 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $49 Or MSI K8N Neo-V Socket 754 NVIDIA nForce3 250 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $56 whats going in it is --------------------------------------- AMD64 3000+ 40gb IDE Hdd Geforce 2 Ti Corsair 512mb 3200 Ethernet 10/100 (depends how good onboard is) (These are parts i have laying around any ideas foks or a better choice? i heard ULi is good. or should for $60 get a onboard video with a PCI-E slot for later use since i currently dont have one. what about SIS chipset or VIa Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

bigred Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 personally I'd stay clear of the Biostar boards if you want PCI-e and something to tide you over with AGR (works with AGP cards), the MSI K8N neo4 is a good choice. it's cheap, works well, and has an NF4 chipset.
