Hyper Threaded Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Should be safe for 80c and maybe a bit more than that... If you're OC-ing, I wouldn't let it get too far past 60c though.
Vooduu Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 yeah,i guess on the default the core slowdown threshold is set at 145.thats a lilttle to high i think..lol so should i drop it to around 80 then?
habitual geek Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 i wouldnt worry until it hits 100*c under full load, personally i dont like to see anything over 60*c, but thats just taste, not necessity
Vooduu Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 so the stock cooling is ok to stick with then for those temps?
DevilMB3017 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Your first post didn't mention if your overclocking the vid at all, but if your not, then the stock cooling should be sufficent for you. The temps might be higher then if you upgraded the cooler, but theres a reason they give you the stock cooler. You don't always have to upgrade it, unless your planning on heavy overclocks.
