Deletion Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 How much do you think I can get out of it. It's PCI-E and stock is 500/1000. I have it on a AMD 64 (Venice) 3200+ with a Asus motherboard.

habitual geek Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 (edited) hes not asking how much he can sell it for........ Deletion, check out the thread over at virtual-octane.net forums in the guides section on the XFX6600GT 600/1200 should be a realistic goal even without a voltmod and on stock cooling, those cards overclock like a beast overclocking doesnt hurt a card, the heat does, as long as you keep temps in check and dont over-volt the card, you are good, when you start to see artifacts when you run a game or benchmark, back off the OC 5 Mhz and try again until it runs clean Edited December 30, 2005 by habitual geek
Deletion Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I have tried overclocking and it doesn;t really seem to help. Really I want a constant fps in css. My fps usually range from 60-200 and I just want it to stay between 90 and say 130. I have tried all sorts of settings but i can never seem ti get a constant fps. Can you help. And I could not find that article at virtual-octane.net. I registered too.
oblivescence Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 more than just your video card plays into your framerate, i dont game much so cant tell you much specifics for that game, but you could be limited somewhere else, unless thats normal for that card
