climberdude Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 so my brother wants a computer now, but he's only got 600 dollars and he wants to game. so far i have: proc: 3000+ 64 bit venice core mobo: i've got a MSI K8T Neo2 for him already vid card: i had a little trouble picking out a chipset. would a 6600GT do alright for someone with a few games, but none of them too graphics intensive? RAM: i was gunna go with 512, but i recently realized that 1G makes a big difference, so hows PQI ram?

Guest Raven65 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 For a budget gaming rig all seems ok but the ram. I'd go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231012 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231027 just a suggestion.
