Grey Or Gray?

How do you spell that shade, that's somewhere between black and white.

I myself, when typing it, tend to go greay, and remove one of the vowels leaving me with grey or gray. Typically, I end up with grey. You?

I dunno. It varies between different situations, but I'm usually consistent within those situations.

Gray = US spelling, Grey = English spelling.

In the UK we don't use the word gray for anything as it is a meaningless jumble of letters made up by you colonials because it sounds like the correct spelling (don't argue, we invented the language) lol.

Seriously though, I wasn't aware you used both spellings in the US.
