hardnrg Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 yeah i did actually clamped the panel to several bits of wood, but the holesaw was skating all over the place and actually routed out the metal plate AND the wood to that shape lol... hence the need for a drill press stand... kinda cool having one just for drilling precise holes too will be a delight to use for all my drilling needs hehe i've read up on how to drill stainless steel and now know it's all about pressure and low speed... so yeah i just got back from work and luckily we had some 6mm x 50mm bolts so i'm all set... even managed to scavenge some polythene sheet so i can keep my bathroom clean (yes, my bathroom is my workshop lol) man i miss living in a house... bloody student places haha... i dunno, i might ask my housemates if i can work in the lounge, i dunno how much holesaw action they can endure tho rofl Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
