Firefox Keeps Crashing

I'm starting to hate Firefox , this update ( 1.5) is worse than IE and man do I hate IE, All it does is Crash like every 5-7 minutes and it does it all dang day .....

 

Anyone else gets this ??

Did you uninstall the older version before you installed 1.5? It's been working beautifully for me.

as well as me, tho it gets annoying because aol music doesn't support fire fox 1.5

I was having trouble too so i uninstalled it all and reinstalled it.Fixed the crashing problem.

 

I only get a couple freeze ups once in awhile but it hasnt crashed yet.

I must just be lucky. I ddin't have ANY problems with the "incrediblybuggy" Ff 1.5 or Windows XP SP2.

only minor problems for me. the download maneger dosent look right and iv got this weird button at the url bar that when i click it = insta crash

i have had a few problems with it, but nothing major... seems like it should still be in the beta stages, even though it is still worlds better than IE.

I've been using it at home on winxp pro sp1, and at work on several computers running sp2. None have had problems. I seriously think you guys with problems have to look at your computers more carefully. Maybe time for a clean install.
