I just uploaded a gif with transparency and went to "view image" and it's going to a jpg image, obviously without transparency EDIT: No, sorry. Seems to be me being stupid and a possible bug? Or just a limitation? I was uploading the bigger image and letting the auto scale thing do it's job, and when it auto scales it converts to a jpg instead of keeping the original format it seems. I was trying to put a christmas hat on him (not an ordinary one either, cowboy style big hugeness!) but it looked a bit poo when it gets shrunk down EDIT: ooh, png's are so much nicer than gifs lol didn't realise we could use pngs! If such an image happens to be animated, it converts to a static image because it'd be impossible for the site to alter an animated gif.
